The recovery timeline for breast augmentation surgery will vary from person to person depending on factors like the exact type of procedure performed, their healing rate, and the physical requirements of their job. Fortunately, breast augmentation requires a relatively small period of downtime to fully recover.
In general, you should plan on taking a minimum of five days off from your job and normal daily activities. Any physically demanding activities or activities that raise your blood pressure or heart rate should be avoided for a minimum of two weeks. After these two weeks, you can begin to engage in light physical activities. After about six weeks, all restrictions will be lifted and you can return to your normal routine.
During your initial consultation, one of our board-certified plastic surgeons will address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your recovery and will provide you with detailed information.
